Profile segments that support sound quality

To cover the cable ducts on the balconies of the Elbphilharmonie concert hall in Hamburg, IsoProfil has developed and manufactured surface-coated profile segments. Using a complex bending system, the radii of the profiles were successfully fitted over a section length of up to three metres. The so-called functional inlays were adapted to the architecturally prescribed waves and arches of the various balconies to support the venue’s outstanding sound quality.
